We are looking for an Expert Project Manager to lead large-scale digitalisation projects in the public safety domain. The focus is on improving the efficiency of fine processing, enhancing data exchange between police and justice, and modernising services provided to citizens.

This is a 12-month assignment (with possible extension) based in Brussels, with a hybrid work model.

What You’ll Do

• Manage complex, high-impact projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Coordinate multiple initiatives aimed at traffic safety, correctional fines, and citizen services.
• Oversee project planning, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Lead stakeholder management with justice authorities, police, regional and federal bodies.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment across diverse stakeholders with sometimes conflicting interests.
• Manage project budgets, financial monitoring, and reporting.
• Oversee and optimise data flows between police and justice, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
• Support hybrid delivery (Agile/Waterfall), ensuring timely risk identification and mitigation.
• Drive process improvements and reduce administrative workload through digitalisation.
