Our client, a global leader in the insurance industry, helping customers for over 50 years with services across travel and automotive. The organization is now driving a major digital transformation to modernize its customer experience and internal operations.
We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the Belgian and Austrian rollout of the Digital Roadside Aid platform. Already launched in Germany and Switzerland, this new platform replaces a legacy system with a modern digital solution with both customer-facing apps and agent tools.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the end-to-end rollout of the Digital Roadside Aid platform in Belgium and Austria.
- Manage project delivery, budgets, and timelines in a complex, multi-country environment.
- Drive change management to ensure successful adoption by agents and business teams.
- Act as the link between local teams and the executive leadership team
- Engage stakeholders at all levels, balancing technical progress with business needs.

- An Experienced Leader: You are a senior project manager, not a newcomer. You have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex IT projects from start to finish.
- A Change Champion: You understand that technology is only half the battle. You have deep experience in change management and know how to guide teams through the transition from a 25-year-old system to a modern digital platform.
- An Industry Insider: You have experience within the insurance, assistance, or banking sectors. You understand the flows and complexities of our industry, which will allow you to gain trust and hit the ground running.
- A Flexible Partner: You possess a consultant's mindset. You understand that project deadlines and stakeholder meetings don't always fit into a 9-to-4 schedule and are flexible to meet the demands of the role.
- A Clear Communicator: You are fluent in French and English, capable of navigating discussions with our French holding company, our Swiss-based CIO, and local teams in Belgium.
Requirements
- Senior IT Project Manager with a strong track record in large-scale, complex projects.
- Proven experience in Digital transformation & legacy migration.
- Hands-on expertise in change management.
- Background in insurance, assistance, or banking sectors.
- Excellent communication skills in French (native) and English.
- Flexible, consultant-style mindset, comfortable with a demanding schedule and travel when needed.
Nice to have:
- Project management certifications (Prince2, PMP, Agile).
- Experience with Lean principles.
- Experience rolling out customer-facing web apps and internal agent tools.
- Track record in matrix, international organizations.

Location: Brussels (Hybrid) 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (office at central station)
Duration: 7-month contract (mid-October 2025 – mid-May 2026).
