As an ideal candidate, you are an experienced BI Developer who excels in transforming functional analysis into robust technical implementations. Your detailed focus and collaborative spirit will help you thrive in this role.

  • You execute technical analyses based on functional specifications.
  • You develop, maintain, and optimize ETL scripts (currently Talend, with migration planned to Apache Hop).
  • You build interactive and high-performance dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • You set up, configure, and maintain development and test environments for BI and data flow processes.
  • You contribute to the migration of ETL processes to new tooling (Apache Hop).
  • You ensure quality control, documentation, and technical validation of developed data solutions.
  • You troubleshoot and provide support in resolving issues within the data pipeline.

What are we looking for?

  • You have strong experience as a BI Developer working across the full data pipeline.
  • You possess expert-level skills in ETL development and advanced SQL.
  • You have hands-on experience with Talend and are comfortable working in evolving ETL landscapes.
  • You are proficient in building dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • You have solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
  • You are experienced with databases such as Oracle, MariaDB, or similar platforms.
  • You are comfortable working in multilingual environments and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch, English, and French.
Nice to have
  • Exposure to Apache Hop or similar modern ETL frameworks.
  • Experience with Data Vault concepts or tooling such as VaultSpeed.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Greenplum.
