Our client is evolving into a fully data-driven organisation. To support that ambition, the central data warehouse is being modernised and migrated to Microsoft Azure, with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI at the core of this new platform.

To strengthen this transformation, we are hiring two Functional Data Analysts who specialise in Power BI datasets, data modelling and dataset optimisation.

What You’ll Do

• Build a deep understanding of business processes and how they relate to each other.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical dataset requirements.
• Design, model and optimise Power BI datasets based on the central data warehouse.
• Align Power BI models with star schema / snowflake models provided by Data Engineers using Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement and monitor dataset governance: security, Row-Level Security, refresh behaviour, publication, performance monitoring.
• Play an active role in testing, validating and documenting newly created datasets.
• Ensure adherence to internal standards, governance rules and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to guarantee consistent and reliable data models.
