Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, is seeking an experienced professional to bridge the gap between OT and IT environments. This role focuses on implementing automation solutions and digital connectivity for specialized equipment within a highly regulated GxP context.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage the automation scope within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Design and implement integrated OT/IT solutions and configure computerized systems.
- Develop, review, and execute commissioning protocols, test plans, and validation documentation for GxP systems.
- Lead troubleshooting activities to identify root causes and propose technical solutions.
- Support investigations, deviations, and CAPA processes to ensure compliant closure.
- Coordinate the procurement of necessary hardware and software components.
- Communicate regularly with project leads and delivery stakeholders regarding technical progress.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years experience in industrial automation or IT within a GxP environment.
- You possess deep knowledge of ISA-95 standards and computer networking (switches, firewalls).
- You have experience with validation standards and requirements such as ALCOA and cGMP Annex 11.
- You bring technical proficiency in Active Directory and FileShare management.
- You're able to handle on-call support duties during weekends (9h to 17h).
- You are fluent in English with a C1 level of Dutch preferred.
- You possess a proactive, service-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Aveva PI data historian or Lighthouse monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of PLC controlled automation.
- Programming skills in PowerShell, CMD, or SQL.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity principles and NIS2 regulations.
