We are looking for an experienced Functional Integration Analyst to strengthen the test and validation phase for back-office applications. You will support the delivery of new features and corrective changes by preparing test scenarios, executing functional validation and documenting user procedures.
This mission sits within the Back Office Applications domain and operates in close collaboration with two Application Owners. Workload and priorities will be coordinated by a Project Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Gain a clear understanding of the application perimeter and business processes.
- Prepare functional test cycles: test data, test scenarios, expected results.
- Write detailed test cases and functional validation sheets.
- Execute integration tests and analyse results.
- Work with Application Owners and business users to validate outcomes.
- Contribute to user documentation and operational procedures.
- Support troubleshooting of defects and follow up corrections delivered by development teams.
- Where relevant, perform technical test tasks such as preparing and executing JCL jobs.
Technical Environment
- Main technologies you will work with: MVS, DB2, Natural / COBOL, SQL, JCL (job preparation and execution), z/OS concepts
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years’ experience in functional integration, test preparation and validation.
- Strong command of SQL and DB2.
- Good understanding of z/OS environments and JCL execution.
- Ability to write clear test scenarios, test plans and functional specifications.
- Strong grasp of business processes in the Distribution sector (highly preferred).
- Autonomy, structured working style and strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in French and ability to collaborate with application teams.
