We’re looking for a highly experienced SAS Specialist to strengthen a Data Warehouse team and help review, optimize, and evolve the current DWH setup. You will work across end-to-end data projects, including business intelligence, data warehousing, data quality, data integration, and performance management.

What You Will Do

  • Analyse the existing Data Warehouse and propose improvements to models, architecture, and integrations.
  • Design, implement, and optimize SAS-based data processes and reporting flows.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and fine-tune performance (e.g., indexing, query optimization).
  • Work with multiple data sources and access them via SAS (e.g., Oracle).
  • Contribute to end-to-end DWH and BI projects across various domains.
  • Document solutions, present findings, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in Data Warehousing, data modelling, and solution architecture.
  • Very strong SAS expertise, ideally:
  • ~20+ years SAS experience (stated requirement — highly unusual but included)
  • Certifications: SAS Base Level 2 (Prog 1-2-3, Macro), SAS Stat
  • Experience in at least one reporting tool: SAS ODS, SAS Graph, Stored Process, SAS Internet, etc.
  • Strong experience with SQL and query optimization.
  • Experience with Oracle or other major databases connected through SAS.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in Dutch OR French, and English.
