Software Asset Management Consultant (SNOW / Flexera)
Brussels-Capital
Digital - Support
Reference number: 92239

You will join a Digital Workplace environment where software licensing, compliance, and cost control are business-critical topics. In this role, you help keep control over a complex software landscape, ensuring licenses are compliant, optimised, and audit-ready. You operate close to operations (RUN), but with a strong interface toward Finance, Procurement and Legal. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both tooling and licensing realities, and who can turn data into clear insights and actions.

What you’ll do

  • Administer and maintain the SNOW Software platform on a daily basis, including License Manager, Inventory, and integrations with SCCM, Intune and Active Directory.
  • Monitor software compliance continuously for strategic vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and Adobe.
  • Produce clear and regular reports on license usage, compliance status and costs, supporting both operational and management decision-making.
  • Detect over-licensing or under-licensing situations and propose concrete corrective actions.
  • Prepare and support vendor audits, coordinating with internal IT, Finance, Procurement and Legal stakeholders.
  • Support contract renewals and negotiations by providing accurate license and usage insights.
  • Actively optimise the software portfolio by promoting license reuse and identifying unused or obsolete licenses.
  • Stay up to date with evolving licensing models (cloud, subscription, hybrid) and translate their impact to the organisation.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM), ideally closer to 5 years.
  • You have strong practical knowledge of SNOW Software / Flexera, including License Manager, Inventory and SAM Intelligence.
  • You understand licensing models of major vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and Adobe.
  • You are experienced in an ITSM / ITIL RUN environment.
  • You are comfortable with analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • You are native in Dutch or French.
  • You have English at C1 level (spoken and written).

What do we offer?

Location: Brussels (hybrid)

Start date: Mid-January 2026
