You'll join a large energy-sector company that delivers high-impact changes across the Belgian market, where you'll lead multiple IT projects end-to-end in a complex, regulated market environment. Your focus is on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business expectations, integrate well within existing processes, and support market transformation initiatives.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing key project documentation such as Project Briefs and Project Definitions.
- Defining scope, dependencies, and planning activities across parallel projects.
- Coordinating project teams, IT experts, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring risks, issues, actions, and assumptions and driving mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring timely and structured communication, including management reporting.
- Managing business cases, budget allocation, forecasts, and scope changes.
- Safeguarding the quality of project outcomes and adherence to corporate standards.
- Leading stakeholder alignment, workshops, and buy-in moments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the sponsor and all involved parties.
- Supporting change impact assessments and ensuring smooth transition to operations.
What are we looking for?
- You bring strong project delivery capabilities and are comfortable managing several initiatives at once.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience leading and coordinating IT projects from initiation to delivery.
- Proven experience across project management frameworks (e.g. Prince2, PMBOK) and clear understanding of roles, processes, and terminology.
- Experience working in the Belgian energy market (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of MIG6 / DGO market processes.
- Experience in a coordination role within a MIG6-related project.
- Prince2 Foundation / Practitioner / Agile certification.
- Exposure to agile testing principles, with willingness to upskill.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Fluent in Dutch OR French (CEFR C1) and comfortable communicating across business and technical domains.
