Our client operates one of Europe’s most critical energy infrastructures and is shifting toward a fully product-centric operating model. To support this transformation, they are looking for experienced Scrum Masters who can guide teams through the transition from component teams to cross-functional feature teams, while strengthening agile ways of working across the wider product landscape.
You will work within a large, complex digital environment supporting gas flow management across multiple European transmission operators, covering customer onboarding, contracting, flow planning, billing, reporting and future low-carbon energy capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Coach two cross-functional product teams in practicing Scrum in a multi-team environment.
- Guide teams through the transition from component-based delivery to feature teams.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective sprint planning, reviews, refinements and retrospectives.
- Remove systemic impediments and help teams resolve local obstacles independently.
- Support and mentor other Scrum Masters who are newer to scaled agile delivery.
- Foster collaboration across teams, enabling transparency, dependency management and alignment.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog clarity, prioritisation and transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives and team health insights.
- Promote shared agile practices across the wider organisation and ensure ways of working stay consistent.
- Contribute to building a culture of trust, ownership, learning and psychological safety.
- Coach team members on agile principles, self-management and sustainable delivery pace.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a scaled agile setting (LeSS preferred; SAFe also relevant).
- Certification in a scaled agile framework (LeSS, SAFe, etc.).
- Strong change management and coaching skills.
- Proven experience guiding cross-functional teams in complex environments.
- Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in another software delivery role (QA, analyst, developer or support).
- Experience coaching teams on concurrent development practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar agile tools.
- Dutch or French language skills.
