A major public transport organisation is rolling out a multi-year S/4HANA transformation to modernise its logistics, maintenance, and planning capabilities. As part of this programme, the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) stream aims to deliver a long-term supply-chain planning solution supporting maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of rolling stock across the national rail fleet.

To strengthen the ERP & Corporate Services delivery organisation, we are looking for a seasoned Project Manager who can drive the end-to-end IBP implementation in close collaboration with internal business teams, the IT organisation, and the S/4 implementation partner. This is a complex, high-visibility program where clean-core principles, structured delivery, and strong stakeholder alignment are critical to success.

• Lead the IBP project track within the S/4HANA programme, ensuring alignment between business requirements and the long-term planning solution.
• Steer implementation partners and internal teams through design, integration, testing, and go-live preparation.
• Safeguard clean-core principles and guide decision-making around extensions, customisation and integrations.
• Facilitate collaboration between IT, maintenance engineering, supply chain, and programme governance teams.
• Monitor scope, budget, planning, risks, and dependencies.
• Manage stakeholder communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Provide structure and clarity during pressure moments — ensuring the team stays focused and productive.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, documentation, and governance.
