In this role you combine project management, hands-on analysis and solution/architecture work for NIS2-related initiatives in a public-sector IT organization. You take ownership of two key cybersecurity and compliance projects: one focused on asset & configuration management, the other on mapping internal and external data and communication flows.
You don’t just coordinate; you also roll up your sleeves on the content: working closely with asset & configuration managers, enterprise and solution architects, and other IT stakeholders to design, document and implement the right processes, models and tools.
Native-level Dutch is essential, as you operate in a highly collaborative and governance-heavy environment.
What you will do
- You will lead and coordinate NIS2 subprojects from initiation to delivery, while also performing a substantial part of the analysis and architecture work yourself.
- You will work with the internal Asset & Configuration Manager to identify and document (critical) assets, define and refine processes, and configure supporting tooling for maintaining an accurate inventory.
- For the data and communication flows track, you will collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to inventory and manage data exchanges between internal systems and between internal and external systems.
- You will ensure that all technical details are captured, linked to a data catalogue, and aligned with relevant cybersecurity and NIS2 requirements.
- You will apply rproject management methodologies (Prince2, PMBOK or similar), manage risks and issues, plan and follow up milestones, and report clearly to stakeholders.
- At the same time, you will perform hands-on ICT analysis and architecture work, model processes and information flows, and help shape configuration and tooling decisions.
What are we looking for?
Project management
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as Project Manager in infrastructure and/or development projects.
- At least 8 years of experience in project leadership and planning in application/security/data projects.
- Strong command of project management methodologies and terminology (e.g. Prince2, PMBOK), ideally supported by certification.
- Experience using project management techniques and tools (risk management, issue management, planning, follow-up).
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in ICT analysis or architecture work in projects (not just pure project coordination).
- Demonstrable experience as data or solution architect, or on projects focused on data architecture.
- Experience with asset & configuration management in an IT context.
- Experience with NIS2-related projects or cybersecurity governance is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Archi or similar architecture modelling tools is a plus.
IT environment & processes
- Experience working on ICT projects within an internal IT organisation (not only vendor side).
- Experience with public sector or government environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with ITIL processes.
- Practical knowledge of MS Project and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2) is mandatory.
