Our client is a national authority for cybersecurity responsible for protecting information systems and shaping the digital future on a national scale. The organization is seeking a Senior IT Architect to design, implement, and optimize a secure IT infrastructure in an evolving threat landscape.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and document IT and security architectures for new infrastructure and future evolutions.
- Coordinate technical stakeholders and service providers to ensure global consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee the migration of existing solutions to cloud environments, including Microsoft 365 SaaS solutions.
- Establish and lead the Architecture Board while providing technical support to Project Managers on solution design.
- Define IT architecture principles and best practices, including the selection of appropriate frameworks.
- Support the IT Manager and CSO in strategic vision definition, change approval, and troubleshooting sessions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams.
What are we looking for?
- You possess 10+ years of experience as an IT Architect with a total of 12+ years in the IT sector.
- You have a strong background in Cloud platforms (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and hybrid environments.
- You bring advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and Fabric.
- You have experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- You bring expertise in Networking (switching, routing, security) and web site management.
- You possess knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing.
- You have a deep understanding of Security standards, communication protocols, and high availability design.
- You are fluent in French OR Dutch with at least a passive knowledge of the other language, and a professional command of English.
- You possess strong communication, synthesis, and writing skills.
- You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in establishing IT governance processes and RACI matrices.
- Willingness to adapt best practices to pragmatic business and financial constraints.
