Our client, a key player in the Belgian energy sector, is seeking a motivated Solution Architect to drive technological innovation. This role involves critically assessing solution proposals and developing proof-of-concepts to validate technology choices within a complex business environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Evaluate and challenge proposed solution architectures to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Design and build small-scale proof-of-concepts to test specific technology stacks and architectural patterns.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and architectural models.
- Engage in proactive stakeholder management to align technical decisions with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of architectural standards.
- Document architectural blueprints and design patterns using industry-standard modelling tools.
What are we looking for?
- You have 5+ years experience as a Solution Architect.
- You possess 5+ years experience applying architectural patterns.
- You bring experience with modelling techniques such as Archimate, TOGAF, UML, or Sparx EA.
- You have experience in Stakeholder Management and possess strong communication skills.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1 level) with a good knowledge of English.
- You're able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to haves
- Knowledge of the Belgian Energy Market.
- Experience with Cloud technology, specifically Azure.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect as a modelling tool.
- TOGAF Certified or TOGAF Foundation certification.
