This role sits within a mission-critical digital platform supporting railway signalling design tools in a highly regulated environment. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with business users and Agile delivery teams to translate operational needs into clear, traceable functional requirements across a microservices- and API-based toolchain.

You will be embedded in the business organization and act as a key link between users, product ownership, and ICT delivery teams, ensuring alignment with the broader platform roadmap and compliance with strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse assigned tools and translate user needs into clear, structured user stories in close collaboration with key users
• Assess the impact of new tools or versions on business processes and follow up on their correct implementation
• Maintain and evolve functional artefacts such as information models, process flows, and user stories
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, and coordinators to ensure alignment with the platform roadmap
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and propose updates to the roadmap or tool landscape
• Strengthen functional and process-level integration across microservices and APIs within the broader toolchain
• Ensure documentation quality, traceability, and compliance with applicable quality, safety, and security standards
