A major Belgian telecom provider is looking for an experienced Functional Process Analyst to strengthen its Product Journey organisation. You will improve and stabilise the order-to-activation flow for one of the company’s regional domains, where complex integrations with external network partners create operational challenges. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical affinity, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business and engineering teams.

What you’ll do

  • Analyse end-to-end order-to-activation processes and identify structural root causes of activation and fulfilment issues.
  • Collaborate intensively with service delivery, product, engineering, and external partner teams to resolve cross-domain blockers.
  • Design and implement process improvements that are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Use SQL and REST APIs to investigate data flows, validate hypotheses, and support troubleshooting.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional flows, documentation, and improvement proposals.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for your process domain and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the journey roadmap and support both strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity in complex multi-party environments.
  • Support teams with operational questions, ensuring that changes are understood and adoptable.
  • Ensure solutions meet functional requirements, technical constraints, and customer-journey expectations.

What are we looking for?

  • You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, ICT, or a related field.
  • You have 5–7 years of experience in functional or process analysis, ideally within the telecom sector.
  • You are confident working with SQL and REST APIs as part of your analytical toolkit.
  • You bring a proven track record in process design, optimisation, and data-driven problem solving.
  • You communicate clearly, manage stakeholders effectively, and can influence decisions in complex environments.
  • You perform well under pressure and maintain structure even when priorities shift.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of French for occasional communication and documentation.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience within telecom activation, fulfilment, or similar operational domains.

Start date: January 2026 (preferably as soon as possible)

Duration: 6 months (extension possible)

Location: Mechelen (hybrid , onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
