You will support a transformation track focused on improving financial, HR, and facilities-related processes across a large public-sector organisation. In this senior role, you analyse business needs, shape functional requirements, improve end-to-end workflows, and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams. You will work across several domains including finance platforms, facilities operations, mobility services, energy management, printing solutions, and transport planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse business processes across finance, HR, procurement, logistics, facilities, and operational domains.
  • Capture, structure, and synthesise requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Define clear functional specifications and support solution design in collaboration with architects and product teams.
  • Map and optimise business processes using BPMN and related modelling techniques.
  • Translate business needs into actionable backlogs and support delivery teams in an Agile/Scrum context.
  • Document financial and logistics processes and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Conduct impact analyses for changes, integrations, and new digital capabilities.
  • Support project governance through planning input, estimations, and coordination.
  • Facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions, and ensure decisions are backed by data and structured reasoning.
  • Assist with documentation, acceptance criteria, and readiness for deployment.
  • Work with tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Archi, and enterprise modelling tools

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT-driven projects.
  • You are skilled at analysing and structuring business needs across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • You have strong experience defining functional requirements for digital solutions.
  • You possess solid knowledge of BPMN and process modelling.
  • You are experienced with financial and/or logistical business processes.
  • You have worked in public-sector environments or similar regulated domains.
  • You are familiar with Agile/Scrum ways of working.
  • You have practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and business architecture concepts.
  • You are comfortable collaborating with enterprise and solution architects.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch (C2) and can work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
