Lead critical infrastructure and development projects for a major public transport organization. You will drive digital transformation initiatives, coordinate multiple Scrum teams, and ensure successful delivery of complex IT projects that directly impact public mobility services.

We are looking for an experienced Dutch-speaking Project Manager to take ownership of strategic projects within a dynamic public sector environment. You will manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation through delivery, while coordinating with diverse stakeholders and technical teams.

  • You lead infrastructure and development projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • You manage multiple Scrum teams, providing coordination and oversight across parallel development streams.
  • You apply project management methodologies (Prince2, PMBoK, or similar) to structure and control project execution.
  • You handle project management techniques and tools, including risk management, issue management, and change management.
  • You oversee software package rollouts, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption across the organization.
  • You monitor and report on project progress using tools like MS Project and Clarity, keeping stakeholders informed.
  • You manage program-level coordination, aligning multiple projects and ensuring coherent delivery.
  • You apply ITIL principles to ensure alignment with IT service management best practices.
  • You coordinate asset and incident management activities within the project context.
  • You identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing issues before they impact project outcomes.

What are we looking for?

  • You have minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure or development projects.
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience as a Program Manager coordinating multiple projects.
  • You have minimum 2 years of experience working in the public sector.
  • You have proven knowledge of PM methodologies (Prince2, PMBoK, or equivalent), preferably demonstrated through certification.
  • You have hands-on experience managing multiple Scrum teams in a project management capacity.
  • You have demonstrated experience with software package rollouts and implementations.
  • You are a native Dutch speaker (CEFR level C2 required).

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with project management tools: MS Project, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), Clarity
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL frameworks
  • Experience with project management techniques: risk management, issue management
  • Experience in the public transport sector
  • Experience with asset and incident management
  • Experience with risk management methodologies
