You will join a network operations team responsible for the setup, security, and day-to-day operation of a large-scale IT and OT network landscape. The environment supports business-critical services running 24/7 across multiple European locations. You operate in a context where reliability, security, and disciplined change execution are essential, combining operational support with involvement in network and connectivity projects.
Your responsibilities include
- Supporting and operating IT and OT network environments in a 24/7 operational context.
- Participating in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network and security systems.
- Analyzing and resolving network incidents and technical issues, with attention to root cause and prevention.
- Preparing, executing, and validating network changes in a controlled and documented manner.
- Supporting colleagues in Belgium and other European locations.
- Using and maintaining backend tools for monitoring, network access control (NAC), central logging, and authentication.
- Contributing to operational improvements and supporting network-related projects, such as:
- Connectivity for new data centers
- Secure cloud connectivity
- WAN modernization initiatives
What are we looking for?
- You have at least a first relevant working experience in a network or infrastructure operations role.
- You have relevant professional experience in a network or infrastructure operations role.
- You have operational experience with firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and Check Point.
- You have a basic understanding of routing and switching at CCNA level.
- You are familiar with Cisco CLI.
- You are proficient in Python programming.
- You are familiar with backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, and authentication.
- You demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- You are fluent in French and/or Dutch, and proficient in English.
