We are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to strengthen internal, national defense related teams working on a large-scale modernization program involving the operational management and re-engineering of around thirty business applications.

You’ll play a key role in bridging business needs and technical implementation, ensuring clear functional design, documentation, and validation in a complex, multi-system environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Conduct process modeling using BPMN, UML, Use Cases, and Activity Diagrams.
• Draft clear and comprehensive functional deliverables (user stories, use cases, process flows, functional specs).
• Define and execute functional tests, support UAT, and validate system behavior against business requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog together with the Product Owner and Project Manager.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders across Agile/Scrum projects.
• Provide user support and contribute to troubleshooting through SQL queries and log analysis when needed.
• Participate in the handover and modernization of legacy applications to align with current development standards.
