This role focuses on designing and guiding the implementation of complex, cloud-native IT solutions within a large public service enterprise environment. You will bridge functional requirements and technical execution, with strong emphasis on secure architectures, system integration, and long-term scalability. The position combines hands-on architectural design with technical leadership across development teams and procurement trajectories.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architectures for custom-built solutions and packaged software implementations
- Define and govern integration strategies using APIs, middleware, and microservices
- Guide the technical integration of external software packages, including data migration and system interfaces
- Act as technical lead and strategic advisor for stakeholders and development teams
- Ensure architecture decisions align with security-by-design principles and enterprise standards
- Contribute to and support full tender and procurement processes from a technical perspective
What are we looking for?
- You have at least 5+ years of experience in solution or technical architecture roles within complex enterprise environments
- You bring strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, API Management, and Service Bus
- You have expert-level knowledge of Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot
- You possess deep experience with data and services architecture, middleware, and system integration
- You have hands-on experience with RESTful API design and governance
- You apply security by design, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection in transit and at rest
- You are a native Dutch speaker
Nice to Haves
- Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, TDD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations
- Experience using architecture tooling such as Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework
