You will define, steer, and evolve the enterprise-wide technology strategy and roadmap. You operate at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, and delivery, ensuring that technology decisions across the organisation are coherent, governed, and future-proof. You lead cross-company technology alignment, guide governance forums, and translate emerging technologies into concrete priorities. Your focus is not on designing individual solutions, but on setting direction, reducing fragmentation, and accelerating transformation at scale.
Responsibilities
- You co-create and evolve the enterprise technology strategy and roadmap with senior leadership.
- You facilitate technology governance through executive-level forums and steering structures.
- You drive alignment between business priorities, enterprise architecture, and delivery execution.
- You translate emerging technologies (cloud, AI, automation) into actionable enterprise-wide initiatives.
- You lead organisation-wide technology landscape assessments covering infrastructure, security, tooling, and platforms.
- You identify fragmentation risks and actively steer convergence and standardisation.
- You support and activate technology communities to drive adoption of shared standards and principles.
- You influence senior stakeholders and build momentum for transformation initiatives in complex environments.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or possess equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level roles such as technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or large-scale digital transformation.
- Proven experience operating across complex, large organisations with multiple stakeholders and domains.
- Strong background in enterprise architecture thinking and technology strategy, beyond single systems or teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide assessments and driving alignment without formal authority.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, AI, automation, and modern technology trends, and their strategic implications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior and executive-level audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex topics for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong resilience and backbone in challenging, politically complex environments.
- Fluent professional English (spoken and written), Dutch is nice to have
- Experience in the telecom sector or similarly large-scale, regulated environments.
- Experience with enterprise architecture tooling such as LeanIX or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with technology governance frameworks.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or equivalent.
