As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll join the Data Standards team that builds and maintains the OSLO toolchain, which is the backbone for data interoperability across public services. You’ll translate information models and business needs into robust, reusable technical tools that make data smarter and more connected.

This role combines hands-on development, DevOps, and data modeling within a modern open-source ecosystem. You’ll work on publishing data standards, automating toolchains, and ensuring interoperability through technologies such as TypeScript, Vue.js, Docker, and RDF.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software supporting data standardization and interoperability.
  • Build and improve the OSLO toolchain using TypeScript, shell scripting, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS.
  • Manage containerized environments using Docker, Docker-Compose, and Docker Swarm.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Develop and consume REST APIs; manage proxy configurations with Express.js, Caddy, or Nginx.
  • Contribute to modeling and analysis of processes and data (using UML, BPMN, ERD, RDF, JSON-LD).
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Agile team, bridging semantic modeling and technical implementation.
  • Support cloud deployments (e.g. Azure) and monitor system reliability, performance, and security.

What are we looking for?

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience in software development (min. 3 years).
  • Strong coding ability — you can code, test, and debug independently.
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Shell scripting, and Vue.js (or Node.js).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of modeling and analysis techniques (UML, BPMN, ERD) and Agile development methods.
  • Fluent in Dutch (C2 level).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Azure and Terraform.
  • Understanding of linked open data, semantic web, RDF, and triplestores.
  • Knowledge of proxy management (Express.js, Caddy, Nginx).
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with open-source libraries such as mu-semtech.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and analytical skills.
