We’re looking for an experienced Windows Server System Engineer to strengthen the digital infrastructure team.

You’ll play a key role in our ongoing modernization efforts performing Windows Server OS upgrades, application migrations, and contributing to NIS2 security compliance within a complex enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute in-place upgrades of Windows Server environments and migrate applications to newer OS versions.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to coordinate upgrades with minimal downtime.
  • Support the implementation of security and compliance measures under the NIS2 framework.
  • Contribute to server management, documentation, and process quality assurance.
  • Draft and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Create technical documentation and testing reports after migration activities.

What are we looking for?

  • Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als System Engineer.
  • Je hebt diepgaande kennis van Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).
  • Je hebt ervaring met het opstellen en/of uitvoeren van test plannen na migratie.
  • Je hebt kennis van SQL Server en monitoring.
  • Je hebt een project- en planmatige aanpak.
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig en goed in documentatie.
  • Je bent beschikbaar om 3 dagen per week op kantoor in Aartselaar te werken, met flexibele werkmogelijkheden voor de overige dagen.
  • Je bent vloeiend in het Nederlands en hebt professionele beheersing van het Engels.
