You will join an innovation environment focused on exploring how emerging technologies can reshape digital experiences. The work is research-driven, experimental by nature, and operates without a fully predefined technical endpoint. Instead of delivering production systems, you will design, build, and validate proof-of-concepts and prototypes that explore new possibilities around personal data, AI, and user-controlled data models.

This role is suited for senior developers who enjoy technological exploration, ambiguity, and experimentation, and who are comfortable making architectural and technology choices independently, documenting them clearly, and translating research questions into working software.

Your responsibilities include

• Designing and building experimental web applications and prototypes in an innovation context.
• Developing front-end components using React or similar frameworks.
• Implementing backend services (e.g. Node.js) and integrating with external APIs.
• Integrating and working with Solid-based personal data vaults (Solid pods).
• Designing and validating a media profile data model based on personal data concepts.
• Building demonstration applications to validate assumptions around personal data usage.
• Exploring and integrating AI capabilities into prototypes where relevant.
• Translating high-level research questions into concrete technical experiments.
• Making architectural and technology choices autonomously and documenting them clearly.
• Collaborating closely with UX researchers, project leads, and external partners.
