We are looking for an experienced IT Transformation Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of a new, future-proof IT environment that directly supports our core operational tasks.
This role focuses on a strategic greenfield program: building an IT landscape for Operations, Asset Management and Maintenance teams. You will have the opportunity to shape a modern, integrated architecture from scratch, bringing together data, digital solutions, and technology to strengthen business processes for the long term.
You’ll work in a compact core team, reinforced by technology experts where needed, and act as the bridge between business and IT.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex IT transformation projects, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and quality.
- Break down IT challenges into clear roadmaps, use cases, and delivery backlogs, and drive execution step by step.
- Build and guide the delivery team: select the right external experts, define their scope, and steer them to success.
- Align closely with business and IT stakeholders to design and implement solutions that fit real operational needs.
- Actively manage risks, dependencies, and resistance, ensuring smooth progress and adoption.
- Be the key contact person between departments, vendors, and leadership, clearly communicating the business case and IT roadmap.
- Support business process owners with advice on both technical and functional aspects.
- Ensure technology choices are sustainable, data-driven, and future-oriented.
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years of experience managing complex IT implementations.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent by experience), ideally in IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven background in projects where industrial or production environments were connected via data and digitalization to performance management.
- Strong greenfield experience: comfortable shaping new structures and processes where little exists.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: assertive, respectful, and focused on progress.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into concrete use cases.
- Strong change management capabilities: challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and driving adoption.
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written).
- Willing to be present in the Antwerp office at least 2 days per week.
