To prepare our client's production processes for the future, we are launching an ambitious multi-year program. Your mission is to orchestrate the migration of our current, local MES/ERP systems to standardized, global platforms. This is an essential step to elevate our efficiency, data quality, and the vertical integration between IT and Operational Technology (OT) to a higher level.
As Program Manager IT/OT, you are the driving force behind this change. You will lead a program consisting of three interconnected, long-term projects that form the core of our digital renewal:
- SAP Transition: The transfer of QA and warehouse functionalities from our local systems to the global SAP platform.
- MES Implementation: The complete switch from our current MES systems to the standard MES system (Pas-X).
- SAP S/4HANA Upgrade: The strategic migration from our current SAP version to SAP S/4HANA.
You are the central coordinator and lead the teams that make this transformation possible. Your responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: You lead the local IT team responsible for phasing out current systems, and the local automation engineers who handle integration with our production equipment.
- Vendor Management: You coordinate collaboration with suppliers of other local IT applications affected by the projects.
- Project Governance: You establish the project organization, lead steering committees, and monitor progress, deadlines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Management: You are the connecting link between the business, local IT and OT teams, global expertise centers for SAP and MES, and external partners.
What are we looking for?
Essential:
- Demonstrable 5+ years of experience as a senior Project Manager or Program Manager in complex, large-scale IT/OT environments.
- Experience managing ERP and/or MES migration projects in a production environment.
- Experience leading software development and/or automation teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with both local and global teams.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, budget management, and planning.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with SAP migrations, preferably to S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of MES systems, preferably Pas-X.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or another highly regulated (GXP) industry.
- Practical experience with both Agile and traditional (Waterfall/PRINCE2) project management methodologies.
- Experience leading or collaborating with offshore teams.
