Our client, a major international energy infrastructure group, is seeking a designer to support the modernization of their internal gas flow management applications. The role focuses on creating intuitive, accessible digital experiences that align user needs with complex business objectives in a transforming energy sector.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive user research by identifying stakeholders and defining research methods such as interviews and co-creation workshops.
- Document and present user research findings to stakeholders to drive design decisions.
- Translate functional requirements into detailed user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system in constant evolution using advanced components and variables.
- Generate multiple design proposals and detailed prototypes within Figma to support product development.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and business stakeholders throughout the entire design cycle from ideation to implementation.
What are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience with Figma, including expert-level knowledge of variants, variables, auto-layouts, and components.
- 3+ years of experience in UX and UI design within large-scale digital product development environments.
- Proven experience in user research methodologies, including observations and focus groups.
- You possess strong visual design capabilities and a precision-focused approach to design efficiency.
- You have a basic understanding of web technologies and their impact on design feasibility.
- You're a strong team player who practices active listening to align with diverse stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of Dutch or French.
- Background knowledge in the energy sector.
