Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for an AI Software Engineer (.NET) to join a transversal technical team. The role focuses on leading a large-scale migration from WPF to Blazor by leveraging generative AI for automated code conversion.
Your responsibilities:
- Define an industrialized migration approach by selecting appropriate tools and products
- Lead the design, development, and technical implementation of the WPF to Blazor migration
- Set up the AI-driven conversion workflows to empower the wider migration team
- Organize training sessions and info sessions to share technical knowledge with IT staff
- Produce comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and manuals for migration execution
- Collaborate with developers and report on progress to the project management lead
What are we looking for?
- You have 3+ years experience with .NET application development
- You bring hands-on experience using generative AI for software development and code conversion
- You possess 1+ years experience with Blazor and C#
- You're fluent in Dutch or French and have a passive knowledge of the other language
- You have a proven ability to take the lead on technical projects and work independently
- You bring strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic and result-oriented mindset
Nice to Haves
- Experience with WPF architectures
- Knowledge of AI governance
- Experience in coaching and training technical team members
