We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Purview Product Owner / Expert to lead the strategic implementation, governance, and optimization of Microsoft Purview within a global enterprise environment. You’ll play a key role in defining and driving the roadmap for data governance, security, and compliance, ensuring that Purview capabilities are fully aligned with broader Microsoft 365 and organizational objectives.

This is a senior-level position requiring both deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder management skills. You’ll act as the go-to subject matter expert for Purview capabilities, working closely with IT security, compliance, and data management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Microsoft Purview roadmap in collaboration with the squad lead and key stakeholders.
• Oversee RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) models, manage permissions, and ensure proper governance.
• Serve as the expert point of contact for Purview capabilities across the organization.
• Provide integration and configuration guidance for Purview with other Microsoft 365 tools and services.
• Ensure alignment with data governance, IT security, and compliance frameworks.
• Document configurations, processes, and governance standards clearly and systematically.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams on Purview and related M365 projects.
• Occasionally support adjacent initiatives involving M365 security, compliance, or data management.
