You join a large-scale digital transformation programme within a complex public-sector environment. The organisation is modernising its case management and service delivery landscape with a clear digital-by-default ambition, aligned with European standards.
As a Product Designer, you shape accessible, intuitive, and consistent user experiences across a growing digital platform. You work on the redesign and expansion of multiple interconnected modules within a future-proof digital platform. These modules support end-to-end case handling for internal teams and external partners and must integrate seamlessly with a broader digital ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- You design accessible and user-friendly interfaces, aligned with the existing design system and accessibility standards.
- You translate user needs and feedback into clear UX concepts and UI designs.
- You create wireframes, wireflows, annotated designs, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- You iterate on designs to continuously improve usability, clarity, and efficiency.
- You advise teams on modern digital design best practices, including navigation, content patterns, design foundations, and design tokens.
- You collaborate closely with developers and analysts to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and correctly implemented.
- You contribute to a shared product vision across multiple modules within the platform
What are we looking for?
- You have solid experience in UI/UX and product design for digital applications.
- You have hands-on experience working with design systems and applying them consistently.
- You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
- You are fluent in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.
- You understand how to balance user needs, technical constraints, and organisational requirements.
- You communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You work autonomously, take ownership of your designs, and proactively suggest improvements.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch or French.
