Join a global leader in industrial technology to design, build, and own the CI/CD infrastructure and automation platform that powers a complex, multi-platform R&D environment. This isn't your typical web-app DevOps role as you'll work across embedded Linux systems, desktop tooling, cloud services, and hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure. Support diverse development teams building everything from custom embedded operating systems and C/C++ firmware to .NET desktop tools and cloud-connected HMI interfaces. You'll be the platform owner who turns fragile, snowflake builds into reproducible, reliable pipelines that span from bare-metal hardware to Azure cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines spanning embedded builds, cross-compilation toolchains, desktop software, and cloud deployments
- Build and maintain heterogeneous build infrastructure supporting multiple platforms, compilers, Visual Studio versions, and custom toolchains
- Architect reproducible build environments using containerization for diverse technology stacks including embedded OS builds, C/C++ compilation, and .NET projects
- Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and Groovy pipelines that standardize workflows across teams without sacrificing flexibility
- Manage artifact lifecycles through Artifactory including binary promotion, versioning automation, and package distribution workflows
- Implement quality gates, traceability systems, and approval workflows that ensure compliance and auditability in a regulated industrial environment
- Evolve testing infrastructure including hardware-in-the-loop test orchestration, device farms, and multi-framework test execution
- Drive infrastructure-as-code practices and eliminate manual configuration drift across build agents and worker pools
What are we looking for?
- You have 5+ years proven experience as a CI/CD Infrastructure Engineer, Build Engineer, Release Engineer, or DevOps Engineer in complex multi-platform environments
- You have deep Linux engineering skills including CLI expertise, build troubleshooting, and system-level automation
- You possess strong Python development skills for building maintainable automation tooling beyond basic scripting
- You have production experience with Jenkins and Groovy including shared libraries, declarative pipelines, and large-scale administration
- You have expert-level Git knowledge including branching strategies, submodules, and monorepo management
- You have extensive Docker and containerization experience for creating reproducible build toolchains and hermetic environments
- You bring experience with binary artifact management systems, preferably Artifactory
- You have worked with diverse build systems and toolchains across different technology stacks
- You are fluent in English
- Experience with embedded Linux development and custom OS builds
- Knowledge of cross-compilation toolchains, hardware drivers, and firmware build processes
- Experience with C/C++ build systems such as CMake, Make, or Bazel
- Hands-on experience with .NET/C# build tooling including MSBuild
- Hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure and device farm orchestration experience
- Advanced Bash and PowerShell scripting skills
- Infrastructure automation with Chef, Ansible, or Terraform
- Microsoft Azure experience including Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines
- GitHub Actions or GitLab CI experience
- Security-focused practices including SBOM generation, artifact signing, and secrets management
