Our client, a specialized national security and law enforcement organization, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to ensure the reliability and optimization of critical telecommunication applications. The role focuses on bridging the gap between operational needs and technical IT solutions within a high-stakes, sensitive environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Analyze, challenge, and formalize business needs related to complex telecom and IT applications.
- Translate operational and technical requirements into comprehensive functional specifications.
- Define and optimize existing business processes using AS-IS and TO-BE modeling.
- Coordinate the testing, deployment, and implementation of new technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, network engineers, and architects to ensure solution consistency.
- Conduct impact analyses, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for system improvements.
- Create and maintain critical documentation including test plans, user guides, and support materials.
What are we looking for?
- You have 3-7 years of experience in IT application management and business analysis.
- You bring proven expertise in translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- You possess experience in the end-to-end coordination of IT application projects and testing phases.
- You're able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (national classification).
- You are fluent in French or Dutch with a passive knowledge of the other language.
- You have an active knowledge of written and spoken technical English.
- You possess strong analytical thinking and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
- You're able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a sensitive environment.
Nice to Haves
- Understanding of telecom technologies such as mobile networks (2G-5G), VoIP, SIP, or IMS.
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as BPMN or UML.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with IP data communication protocols.
