Our client, a major transport and logistics organization, is looking for a Product Owner - Test Management to support their operational planning systems. The role involves overseeing quality standards and coordinating complex testing lifecycles in a large-scale environment.
Your responsibilities:
Our client is looking for a Senior Test Coordinator to lead testing and user acceptance activities for complex software solutions within a large-scale operational environment.
The role is responsible for defining test strategies, coordinating UAT, and ensuring end-to-end quality across projects delivered with internal and external teams. Given the criticality of the systems and the regulated domain, the position requires strong governance, stakeholder management, and hands-on testing expertise.
Responsibilities:- Define and own the overall test strategy, scope, planning, and governance across assigned projects.
- Coordinate and supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring readiness of environments, test data, and stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore testing teams, including task assignment and coaching.
- Oversee test case design, execution, coverage, and defect lifecycle management.
- Act as the central point of contact for project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and external partners.
- Monitor testing risks, quality metrics, and progress, and provide clear reporting and Go/No-Go recommendations.
- Ensure alignment between testing activities, release planning, and deployment schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and collaboration with partners.
What are we looking for?
- You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing roles, including hands-on testing and coordination.
- You have at least 3 years of experience leading test strategy, planning, and execution as a Test Coordinator or Test Manager.
- You bring proven experience coordinating or supervising UAT activities.
- You have experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
- You have practical knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or TestRail.
- You hold a valid ISTQB / ISEB certification.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the railway sector, preferably within planning-related domains.
- You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Ability to validate data using SQL.
- Exposure to test automation principles and integration of automated tests into UAT or regression testing.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
