You will join a multidisciplinary digital delivery team as a senior, hands-on UX Architect / Product (UX/UI) Designer. The role focuses on designing and implementing user-centered, accessible, and scalable software applications in a complex, high-impact environment.

This is a strongly hands-on role. You will actively design, prototype, test, and iterate on real digital products rather than operating in a purely advisory or lead-only capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end UX/UI solutions for complex software applications with a strong focus on usability and accessibility
  • Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into coherent information architectures, wireframes, and clickable prototypes
  • Conduct and interpret qualitative and quantitative user research and usability testing
  • Define and apply interaction patterns, micro-interactions, and UI standards aligned with an existing design system
  • Facilitate workshops with business, technical, and product stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and engineers within large agile delivery teams
  • Contribute actively to sprint events, ensuring design feasibility and quality throughout delivery

What are we looking for?

  • You have 10+ years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design for large-scale software applications / complex digital products
  • You have 5+ years of experience creating wireframes and clickable prototypes, preferably using Figma
  • You bring 5+ years of experience with design frameworks such as Design Thinking, Design Sprints, and DesignOps
  • You have 5+ years of experience designing information architectures and managing design systems
  • You have 5+ years of experience with interaction design and micro-interactions
  • You have 5+ years of experience applying WCAG accessibility guidelines
  • You have 5+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to assess technical feasibility
  • You hold a higher education degree (Bachelor or Master) obtained at a recognized EU institution
  • You are fluent at an active professional level in Dutch, French, and English

What do we offer?

Location: Brussels (hybrid)

Hybrid working model with minimum 3 days onsite per week

Full-time engagement for 12 months
