We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join the ICT Applications team within the Energy Deliveries domain. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and developers, translating user needs into functional, user-friendly applications.
Your scope will cover new projects, ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, and user support for business-critical applications in the utilities sector. While the focus is functional, you should also be comfortable handling IT-technical tasks, the client values versatility.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and analyze business and user requirements.
- Translate needs into functional specifications for development teams.
- Support and improve .NET applications within the Energy Deliveries domain.
- Provide user support and ensure smooth application operations.
- Collaborate closely with business partners, developers, and project teams.
- Contribute to projects following Agile/Scrum or other structured methodologies
What are we looking for?
Must haves
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Functional Analyst.
- Experience supporting .NET applications.
- Knowledge and experience in the utilities sector.
- Multi-disciplinary mindset: able to work both functionally and on IT-technical aspects.
- Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2).
Should-Have Requirements of zoals Liam Neeson het zou zeggen: “a very particular set of skills”
- Experience with JIRA as a tracking tool.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum project methodology.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, FinOps365, or Mecoms365.
- Knowledge of energy market communication standards (MIG6 / MIG DGO).
- Ability to write SQL queries and work with Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (change and release management).
- Professional-level English (CEFR C1).
What do we offer?
- Location: Brusselsesteenweg 199, 9090 Melle (hybrid).
- Duration: 12 months, with extension possible.
- Workload: Full-time (220 days per year).
- Start Date: 4 November 2025.
