We’re looking for a Medior Functional Analyst with a solid technical background to join a multidisciplinary product team.
You’ll translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product managers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Your role covers the full analysis lifecycle — from refining epics to validating finished features.
What You’ll Do
- Refine epics into detailed, prioritized user stories.
- Write, validate, and maintain user stories in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Work closely with the development and QA teams during refinement and delivery.
- Validate developed features against acceptance criteria.
- Use your technical insight to discuss and challenge design choices, API usage, and data flows.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
What are we looking for?
- 4+ years of recent experience as a Functional Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Technical understanding of REST APIs, Swagger, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficient with UML (use-case, sequence, and data modeling diagrams).
- Familiar with BPMN, Jira, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server for data exploration or validation.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- A first experience with UX Design principes
- Fluent in Dutch and English or French and English, with at least a working knowledge of the third language.

- Contract: Freelance or Permanent.
