Our client, a major player in the utility sector, is seeking a Release Manager to join their ICT Applications and Data Management department. The role focuses on supporting large-scale energy transition programs, including the stabilization of market systems and the rollout of new digital metering processes.
Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan complex releases across multiple projects within a large program structure.
- Oversee release preparation, communication, and follow-up activities to ensure successful deployment.
- Manage interactions with external stakeholders to align release schedules and expectations.
- Coordinate technical deployments across diverse technology stacks and release tools.
- Monitor and report on release performance using defined KPIs.
- Utilize ticketing and test management tools to track progress and resolve issues during the release cycle.
What are we looking for?
- You have 5+ years of experience in Release Management, including preparation, communication, and follow-up.
- You have 5+ years of experience in Project Coordination and planning.
- You have 3+ years of experience within the Belgian energy market.
- You have 3+ years of experience managing releases for various technology stacks and release tools.
- You are Scrum Master certified.
- You possess experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or TopDesk.
- You have experience managing releases within a program environment involving multiple concurrent projects.
- You are native in Dutch (C2) with a good basic knowledge of French.
- You possess strong communicative skills and experience managing external stakeholders.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with CI/CD processes and Confluence.
- Knowledge of MIG6 and market processes.
- Experience with test tools such as Jira or HP ALM.
- Experience establishing and monitoring KPIs.
