Our client, a major player in the European energy landscape, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support the reliability and sustainability of their electricity infrastructure. This role involves managing complex cloud platforms while contributing to a green energy transition within an agile environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot managed and self-hosted platforms on Azure, including Kubernetes, Kafka, and Keycloak.
- Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm while ensuring configuration management standards.
- Support deployment activities and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps and ArgoCD.
- Configure and manage access controls, secrets, and identity management using platform-native tools and Keycloak.
- Monitor system health and performance, responding to platform incidents and reporting bottlenecks.
- Perform routine backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations according to documented processes.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with security and development teams to resolve system-level issues.
What are we looking for?
- You have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure operations with Azure, including Virtual Network, Firewall, VPN Gateway, and Monitoring.
- You possess operational skills in deploying and supporting Kubernetes and Kafka.
- You have experience with infrastructure as code and container orchestration using Terraform and Helm.
- You bring experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Azure DevOps, Git, and ArgoCD.
- You possess a solid understanding of Cloud Security, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection.
- You have experience with Authentication and Authorization tools, specifically Keycloak.
- You have experience with data and storage platforms such as PostgreSQL, CEPH, and Opensearch.
- You bring basic scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- You're fluent in English with knowledge of French, Dutch, or German being a plus.
- You're a strong team player with good analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with Logic Apps for integration tasks.
- Experience in the energy or utility sector.
