You will support an HR organization that is strongly focused on data quality, insight, and impact. Your role sits at the intersection of HR, data engineering, reporting, and change management. The objective is to turn HR data into reliable insights that support decision-making, process optimization, and cost control, with a strong initial focus on personnel and payroll costs.
You work end-to-end: from understanding HR processes and data sources, through analysis and optimization, to visualization, reporting, and stakeholder adoption.
What you’ll do
- You analyze and improve the quality, consistency, and structure of HR data.
- You interpret HR data and translate it into clear insights and visualizations for decision-makers.
- You optimize end-to-end HR processes, with a strong focus on an integrated, process-driven approach.
- You design, improve, and maintain reporting and tooling, including dashboards and analytical views.
- You optimize and tune databases and queries to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- You analyze complex data flows across HR systems and reporting layers.
- You contribute to change management, helping HR stakeholders adopt new insights, reports, and ways of working.
- You actively support priority topics such as payroll and personnel cost analysis.
What are we looking for?
- You have a strong background in HR, with a solid understanding of HR data and HR environments.
- You have proven experience working with HR systems and reporting tools (for example Tableau or similar).
- You have expert-level experience (8+ years) in database optimization and query tuning.
- You have expert-level experience (8+ years) in analyzing complex data streams.
- You are comfortable working with databases such as SQL and Oracle.
- You have experience with reporting and data visualization.
- You are familiar with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python or similar).
- You take a project- and process-oriented approach and can work independently.
- You are fluent in Dutch (CEFR C2).
- You have in-depth knowledge of HR core processes, including payroll and HR legislation.
- You are used to working in environments where data protection and confidentiality are critical.
