We’re looking for a hands-on Senior .NET Developer & Scrum Master to strengthen a small Agile team working on applications that support key operational and financial processes within a public organization.
Roughly 80% of your time will be dedicated to .NET development, and 20% to Scrum facilitation.
You’ll work in a hybrid tech environment that includes both legacy WinForms/VB.NET applications and modern web applications built with .NET 8, C#, and Angular 18+.
Your challenge: maintain, modernize, and rebuild existing systems into scalable web solutions — while guiding your team through Agile delivery cycles.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain both legacy and new .NET applications (WinForms and .NET Core / .NET 8).
- Implement new web functionalities using Angular (v18+).
- Translate functional specifications into robust technical designs.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and the product coordinator.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following design patterns and OOP principles.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews).
- Manage product and sprint backlogs (Omnitracker, TFS/Azure DevOps).
- Coach and motivate team members to continuously improve Agile maturity.
What are we looking for?
Must-Have Skills
- .NET (VB.NET & C#) – 5+ years of experience
- Angular (v12 or higher, ideally v18) – 3+ years
- Entity Framework – proven experience
- Relational Databases & Stored Procedures – 3+ years
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- WCF & Design Patterns – practical understanding
- Scrum Master experience – at least 1 year
- Agile mindset – experienced in facilitating and coaching development teams
- Dutch (C2 level) – mandatory
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with WinForms migration projects
- Familiarity with the public sector or regulated environments
- Exposure to continuous delivery tools (TFS, DevOps)
