You will join a digital product division that has been building and evolving customer-facing applications for several years, including digital onboarding, simulations, and subscription flows for investment products. Alongside these customer platforms, the division also maintains and modernizes internal .NET solutions and APIs that are critical to the broader IT landscape. The next phase focuses on strengthening technical quality and long-term robustness, gradually modernizing legacy components toward more future-proof architectures.

In this role, you act as the senior technical reference for backend development. You combine hands-on technical leadership with coaching, architectural challenge, and close collaboration with analysts, testers, project leaders, and architects across multiple IT domains.

What you’ll do

• You take ownership of the technical quality of backend and API solutions, with a strong focus on .NET-based applications, integrations, data flows, and system performance.
• You reinforce monitoring, error handling, logging, and performance tracking across backend services and end-to-end integrations, using concrete metrics such as KPIs, test coverage, and performance results.
• You translate functional requirements into clear, structured technical designs that developers can implement consistently and efficiently.
• You challenge existing solutions and propose future-proof technical improvements, balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
• You actively support and coach backend developers, sharing knowledge and raising the overall technical maturity of the team and the wider division.
• You coordinate technical work packages, contribute to effort estimations, and support the planning of changes and new functionalities.
• You validate implementations through reviews, testing, and quality gates before delivery, ensuring solutions meet agreed standards.
• You collaborate closely with analysts, testers, architects, and other IT divisions to ensure integrations and cross-system flows work reliably end to end.
• You support project leaders and managers by highlighting risks, improvement opportunities, and efficiency gains related to technology, processes, and governance.
