You will join the ICT Applications & Data department, within a close-knit team of eight Application Managers responsible for the operational management of digital channels.
In this role, you focus on the day-to-day operation of websites and CMS platforms, with a strong emphasis on Drupal 9/10. You ensure continuity, quality, and usability of web applications, acting as the first point of contact for internal users and coordinating with external vendors when needed.
What you’ll do
- You manage and maintain web forms, from initial needs analysis to configuration and updates in the CMS.
- You support multiple websites and act as the first-line contact for CMS-related questions from colleagues, key users, and webmasters.
- You analyse more complex issues and either resolve them yourself or coordinate second- and third-line support with external suppliers.
- You follow up on CMS upgrades and technical updates, including Drupal, server, OS, PHP, and MySQL changes.
- You support new CMS extensions and integrations with other applications.
- You manage user accounts, including access rights and content handling when accounts are removed.
- You manage domain names and external DNS configuration.
- You follow up administratively on services delivered by external vendors and ensure SLA compliance.
- You document procedures, solutions, and operational guidelines, and actively share this knowledge with stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
- You have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with building and maintaining web forms in a CMS environment.
- You have experience with the operational management of websites and CMS platforms.
- You have practical, operational experience with Drupal 9 and/or Drupal 10.
- You have initial experience as an Application Manager or in a similar operational IT role.
- You are fluent in Dutch at CEFR level C2.
Nice to have
- Basic experience with business analysis or requirements gathering.
- Experience giving workshops or user training.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts.
- Experience in the public sector or within a local government context.
- Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, configuration management).
