Our client, a major international player is undergoing a major IT transformation, moving toward a modern event-driven architecture to support their future growth. To strengthen their team, they’re looking for a Technical Analyst with strong affinity for interfacing and data mappings.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between business teams and developers, ensuring smooth integration between warehouse, manufacturing, and ERP (SAP) systems. You’ll work in a hybrid setup from the Turnhout region office (2 days per week on-site) and help shape the next generation of the integration landscape.
What You’ll Do
- Perform technical analyses for interfacing and data mappings.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Align with analysts from other domains to streamline communication and integration.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and define data mappings in contract formats (e.g., Avro IDL, OpenAPI).
- Support troubleshooting when interface issues occur.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help improve team practices around documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT/Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases.
- Familiarity with interfacing via queues, Kafka, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira.
- Practical knowledge of Git.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team, including writing and refining user stories.
- Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical domains.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- A strong technical background is a definite plus.
- Experience in integration projects across warehouse, manufacturing, and ERP systems.
