A leading organization in the public sector is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to contribute to the expansion and optimization of organizational and association registries. The role focuses on translating user needs into functional specifications while ensuring data quality and seamless platform integration.
Your responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements and expectations from various government departments and stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications within Jira tickets.
- Design and execute functional, API, and technical integration test scenarios.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including release notes and technical specifications.
- Support data migrations and monitor data quality across central registers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to technical feasibility assessments and process improvements.
- Report on anomalies, trends, and data insights using Power BI.
What are we looking for?
- You have 5+ years experience as a Functional Analyst.
- You possess 5+ years experience with API integrations using REST and SOAP.
- You bring 5+ years experience in general business operations applied to ICT.
- You have experience with BPM (Business Process Model and Notation) for process optimization.
- You're native in Dutch with a C2 level.
- You have experience with Stakeholder Management and gathering input for technical specifications.
- You possess 5+ years experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- You have 3+ years experience with Data Modeling and Functional Testing.
- You have 3+ years experience with Jira and Confluence.
- You have 1+ years experience in a government/public sector context.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Data Migrations and quality control.
- Experience with Postman and API testing tools.
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and data insights.
- Experience with Excel and VBA for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Project Management facets including cost, timing, and planning.
