  • You guide the digitalization of sewer networks by setting up and optimizing related processes.
  • You establish reporting systems and configure applications to support project objectives.
  • You collaborate with various departments, creating a broad network for project alignment.
  • You conduct in-depth business and functional analyses while facilitating small workgroups.
  • You define actions to achieve short- and long-term desired outcomes.
  • You anticipate potential issues and escalate concerns to the project leader.
  • You document processes, create customer-oriented training, and ensure adoption of the new approach.
  • You translate business needs into functional requirements for applications.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a business analyst.
  • You possess experience in the development and optimization of business processes (BPM).
  • You bring experience in stakeholder management.
  • You are proficient with various office tools (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams) for collaboration within a project.
  • You have experience in facilitating workshops.
  • You have demonstrable experience working in ICT projects.
  • You possess a Master’s degree.
  • You have a strong understanding of the utilities sector, specifically in relation to the transformation challenges in (waste)water management.
  • You are proficient in Dutch at a European CEFR level C2.

Additional Experience (Strong Plus)

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a similar technical or infrastructure environment.
  • Experience working in Agile project settings.
  • Experience with stakeholder management across multiple departments.
  • Experience using collaboration and project tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in large organisations (+2,500 employees).
  • Experience with change or transformation trajectories (process, organisation, or digital).
  • Familiarity with utilities, network management, or the water/wastewater sector.
  • Knowledge of sociocracy, Management 3.0, or Lean (Green Belt) is a plus.
  • Master’s degree is considered an asset.

Contract: Freelance or Permanent

Location: Melle, Belgium

Work regime: Full-time

Start date: 16/02/2026 (earlier start negotiable)

Duration: Until 16/02/2028 (12-month extensions possible)
