You will join a large, mature delivery team working on a long-running, business-critical software platform used for clinical study design within a regulated life sciences environment. The team develops and maintains a validated (GxP) application that has been in production for several years and continues to evolve through multiple major releases each year.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team of analysts, developers, testers, technical writers, and a project manager, operating in an Agile setup with strong collaboration between technical and functional profiles. This role replaces an existing contractor and is part of a stable, ongoing program rather than a greenfield initiative.
Your Role
- As a Full Stack Developer, you focus primarily on writing high-quality, production-ready code in a validated environment.
- You design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET 6+, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance within a Microsoft Azure context.
- You build and evolve frontend features using Angular (currently v14, with planned upgrades), working with a shared component library to ensure consistency and usability.
- You collaborate closely with business analysts to translate functional requirements into clear technical implementations.
- You work hand-in-hand with testers to support unit testing, defect resolution, and validation activities required in a GxP context.
- You integrate backend services with databases, APIs, and third-party systems supporting clinical workflows.
- You write well-documented code that adheres to GAMP5 and SDLC standards, understanding that documentation is part of the deliverable.
- You participate actively in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions within the team.
- Depending on experience and ambition, you may take on technical leadership responsibilities within the development team.
What are we looking for?
- You have 5+ years (senior) of experience as a Full Stack Developer (absolute minimum is 3 years)
- You have strong hands-on experience with .NET 6 or higher, building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- You have solid experience with Angular (v13+), including TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- You are comfortable working across frontend and backend, even if you specialize more strongly in one of them.
- You have experience working in validated environments (GxP, GAMP5, regulated SDLC) — this is a hard requirement.
- You are familiar with Agile/Scrum ways of working and version control systems such as Git.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Experience upgrading or migrating Angular applications.
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- DevOps or Azure experience or certification.
- A strong problem-solving mindset that goes beyond pure implementation.
