As an ideal candidate, you are a skilled Back-End Developer focused on ensuring the security and stability of digital platforms. If you are detail-oriented, technically proficient, and passionate about enhancing digital experiences, this role may be for you.
- You maintain and stabilize the existing Sitecore XM 10.2 platform until transitioning to XM Cloud.
- You implement and continuously improve secure development practices for Sitecore and .NET.
- You perform vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation for Sitecore instances, pipelines, and modules.
- You conduct regular code reviews with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- You optimize platform performance through caching, database tuning, and improvements in CDN/WAF.
- You strengthen observability by enhancing monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- You ensure coexistence readiness with XM Cloud including content parity validation and unified incident communication.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Sitecore back-end development with a security and performance focus.
- You possess 5+ years of professional experience in back-end development with C#/.NET.
- You have proven experience with Sitecore XM 10.2 (installation, pipelines, configuration, patching, and performance optimization).
- You are knowledgeable about Sitecore XM Cloud.
- You possess strong knowledge of web application security principles (OWASP, secure headers, encryption, CSRF, XSS prevention).
- You have experience with DevOps & CI/CD pipelines for Sitecore deployments (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- You have experience working with on-premises Sitecore XM 10.2, including manual deployment procedures.
- You have hands-on experience with SQL Server performance tuning and scaling Sitecore content delivery.
- You have experience configuring WAF/CDN solutions in combination with Sitecore XM 10.2 (e.g. F5, Azure Front Door, Cloudflare).
- You have practical experience with application observability tools such as Application Insights, Seq, Kibana, or similar.
- You communicate fluently in English and have a working knowledge of Dutch or French.
