Rather than working on abstract data models, you will analyse real-world operational processes such as asset usage, maintenance activities, incidents, and costs, and translate them into meaningful dashboards and performance indicators used by engineers and operational stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse operational processes to identify performance, reliability, and efficiency trends
  • Build and maintain analytical datasets by structuring and harmonising data from multiple operational systems
  • Define and implement data quality checks to ensure reliable and trustworthy analyses
  • Design and deliver dashboards and visualisations tailored to operational users
  • Develop and standardise KPIs related to assets, maintenance, safety, and cost efficiency
  • Optimise existing reports to improve clarity, usability, and decision-making value
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate analytical outputs into existing reporting environments
  • Coach internal analysts on best practices in data analysis, visualisation, and data storytelling
  • Document analytical processes, data models, and governance guidelines

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or analytical scripting
  • You have at least 2 years of experience writing SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data across multiple systems
  • You have experience building dashboards and visualisations using Grafana or a comparable tool
  • You are comfortable working autonomously in an operational, structured environment
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You are fluent in Dutch OR French (C1 level) and can work professionally in English
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience working with operational, industrial, or asset-centric data
  • Familiarity with monitoring or performance-oriented dashboards
  • Experience coaching or supporting junior analysts
  • Exposure to data governance or quality management practices
