We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to join the IT Contract & Vendor Management team. In this role, you will manage complex IT projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and quality. You will collaborate with stakeholders across IT and procurement, ensuring strong governance, clear communication, and effective risk management.
This is a senior role within the Project Delivery Services organization, reporting directly to the Head of IT Contract & Vendor Management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead IT project delivery from initiation to closure.
- Define scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and communication documents.
- Monitor progress and ensure project outcomes meet agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Report regularly to stakeholders on risks, issues, and status.
- Facilitate SteerCo and project update meetings, ensuring alignment across all parties.
- Work closely with IT and procurement stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
- Identify risks and execute mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the overall Project Delivery Services team culture.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 15 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in IT project management.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, Prince2, and Scrum.
- Strong experience managing complex IT projects in large organizations.
- Knowledge of public procurement law is an asset.
- Experience in the public sector and in IT environments is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
- Languages: Professional proficiency (C1) in Dutch, French, and English.
What do we offer?
Location: Brussels (Anderlecht), hybrid with at least 2 days onsite per week (currently Wednesday fixed + 1 other day, subject to project needs).
Contract: Freelance or Permanent, full-time.
Start date: 13/10/2025.
End date: 30/09/2027 (long-term assignment).
